Triple Play USA was founded in 1992 as part of ATEC Grand Slam USA's baseball franchise. We opened the first Grand Slam USA in Emeryville, California in a 10,000 sq. ft warehouse at 5892 Christie Avenue. We remained at that site through our 10 year lease. During that time, ATEC dissolved their franchise business and we went independent as Triple Play USA.

In January, 2003 we moved to our current 2055 Adams address in San Leandro. The current leased building is 14,000 sq. feet and allows us to have 2 training tunnels as well as a large sit-down viewing area for HDTV baseball games.

During our 15 years of business our token price has gone up an average of 10 cents a year, although our rent has gone from $3,500 per month to over $10,000. We have attempted to keep our price increases as low as possible and have kept our volume discounts and membership rates much in line with token prices from 10 years ago.

We have attempted to have the best training tools for both baseball and softball players. The Swingaways are a great training device available free to members to work out their mechanics and warm-up. The 50 mph baseball and slow-pitch softball cage have free replay viewing on a television next to the cage to view your prior round.
